Joe and Nelly met and rescued each other in July 2019 at Orphans of The Storm Animal Shelter in Deerfield, IL.  Nelly’s first owner was deployed to Afghanistan when she was four years old.  

She is a crowd favorite at local neighborhood events where attendees often take pictures with Nelly because she always dresses the part!

Joe is a strong advocate against Pitbull Breedism as well as a strong advocate for Pitbull Education, Adoption and Awareness.  To learn more visit:
